YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This policy describes how the BygoneSMS service at bygonesms.com processes information when you browse, create an account, add credit or use temporary SMS verification numbers. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. Please do not send passwords, wallet private keys or unrelated sensitive messages.
1. Information we process
- Account information: your email address, optional display name, account status and a password hash if you register with a password.
- Google sign-in: if you choose Google, we receive a verified Google account identifier, email address and basic profile information such as your name. We use the stable Google identifier to connect your account. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, contacts or Drive.
- Orders and messages: the service, country and server you select; allocated phone numbers; SMS messages and codes supplied for your orders; order status, timestamps and cancellation records.
- Payments: credit balances and ledger entries, payment and invoice identifiers, currencies, amounts, payment status, and transaction or refund details returned by the payment provider. A refund request may include a receiving wallet address.
- Security and support: session identifiers, IP addresses and technical request information used to secure the service, plus information you include in support requests.
2. Why we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide numbers and SMS messages, reconcile payments and credit, maintain order history, handle support and refunds, and detect abuse. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, service delivery relies on performing our agreement with you; security and fraud prevention rely on our legitimate interests; required record-keeping relies on applicable legal obligations. Where a separate activity relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
Google sign-in is optional. You can use email sign-in instead. We do not use Google account data to personalize advertising or sell it to advertisers.
3. Providers and disclosures
We use infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, delivery and security; OTPX to supply temporary numbers and order-related SMS; and Heleket to process cryptocurrency payments. Those services receive information necessary for their role. Google processes the sign-in you choose under its own Privacy Policy. Telegram processes messages you send through its platform under its own policies.
Authorized operators may access account, payment and order information to provide support, investigate abuse and manage the service. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and service security. Blockchain transactions are public and cannot be erased by BygoneSMS.
4. Cookies and browser storage
We use secure session cookies to keep you signed in and a short-lived cookie to protect Google sign-in. Google sign-in requests expire after 10 minutes. Country favorites and display preferences may be stored in your browser. You can clear browser storage or sign out; disabling necessary cookies can prevent authentication. Google and Telegram may use their own cookies when you visit their services.
5. Retention and security
We retain account and order records as needed to operate your account, provide order history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet applicable record-keeping duties. Retention depends on the type of record, whether an order or dispute remains open, and legal obligations. Expiry of a temporary number does not itself delete its saved order history. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or de-identified through the applicable retention process.
We use access controls, secure transport, hashed passwords and protected storage for sensitive server credentials and message data. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not use temporary numbers for emergency services, sensitive long-term account recovery or messages unrelated to the order.
6. International processing
The service and its providers may process information outside your country. Applicable privacy rules and safeguards depend on the processing location and provider. Contact support for information about the safeguards relevant to your request.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update your display name in your profile and ask support about access, correction, account closure or deletion. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of information, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data-protection authority. We may need to verify account ownership and retain records necessary for legal obligations or unresolved transactions.
You can revoke BygoneSMS access in your Google account settings. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete your BygoneSMS account or its order records; contact support if you also want those addressed.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service. Send privacy requests to [email protected], identifying your account and request without sharing authentication secrets. You can also reach BygoneSMS support on Telegram.
